Under Villa J is more than just a holiday home. It’s a place built with care, shaped by love for the land, and guided by the values of hospitality, warmth, and simplicity.

Our family discovered the beauty of Pelion years ago, during a visit to the village of Portaria. We were instantly drawn to its lush nature, panoramic views, and the timeless charm of the mountain. Captivated by the spirit of the place, we decided to plant roots—purchasing a quiet hillside plot just outside the village and building a home from the ground up.

From the start, this house was created to be a refuge. We designed every detail with intention: wooden beams that echo Pelion’s traditional architecture, vintage furniture and local ceramics that give character, and thoughtful comforts to make each stay both relaxed and practical.

But what truly makes Under Villa J special isn’t just the view or the design. It’s the feeling. The slow mornings with coffee on the balcony. The long dinners around the table. The laughter from the billiard room. The quiet moments of rest after a day exploring the mountain. And yes, we’re proudly pet-friendly—because we know how important it is to share these moments with every member of the family.
